The player embody a mercenary who is in command of a SteamWalker, a large war machine powered by steam. He battles against other SteamWalker in India and its surrounding area, accepting gigs from different factions at war with each other for the control of Heat crystal, an energetic resources that could change the wolrd.
One of my friends is involved in this project with me. We share responsibilities and take each other's opinions into consideration.

Editor documentation

I am working on an external document to share the project's vision. It provides an overview of the entire project without going into too much detail.
Feature Design Document: Fight

I have detailed the design of the fight feature in this document. Using loops and references helps a lot to understand the feature correctly and avoid incorrect interpretation.
Excel for customisation

I created an Excel document to serve as a tool for development. It can help create all the stats for a mech's parts, simulate mech customization, and balance all the part stats. By using multiple sheets to separate each function, the document becomes much easier to read and use.
Simulate the firing system

The firing system is a complex mechanic that takes different values into account. To simulate this system, I used Machination. It is great to see how a value can affect the entire system and adjust it if needed.

Notes

A persona was created for the project. It is important to keep in mind to whom we want to create the game for.

The 'What's not' is a good practice to clearly define the boundaries of the project. Here, it has helped me understand that I do not want the game to look like a fast-paced game, but I am open to adding more strategy and tactics to the game.
